Making the decision to look for a counsellor can be very daunting, but very often it is your biggest step forward.

My counselling approach is "Person Centred" - I also integrate aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – based on the unique need of each individual client. I can offer you a safe, confidential & non-judgemental space for you to explore your own thoughts and feelings.

I work on a one-to-one basis and offer short term or long term counselling depending on your own personal needs. I can help you to work through any issue that you feel is troubling you and we can explore together the best way of moving forward.

Experience

I have worked as a volunteer counsellor at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in Sheffield for more than 4 years. I have worked with parents, grandparents and other family members to offer counselling and support for Bereavement, Loss and Grief and other Mental Health issues that may have been heightened by stresses and pressures of everyday life for the parents and families of the terminally ill children.

I have worked as a Placement Counsellor for Sheffield NHS Staff Workplace Wellbeing for 18 months. I have worked with adult clients who have experienced a wide range of issues such as:

  • Traumatic life events

  • Work-related issues

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Self-harm

  • Anger

  • Relationship issues

  • Bereavement
